Scope of services required:
- Contractors dimensional control methods for checking that all works are properly set out and satisfactory, supervise specialist surveying when necessary.
- Ensure all quality control checks and tests are instigated, with records maintained and available as required for concrete mix design, batching operations, concrete pour, foundation release, grouting release, area release, all in accordance with contractors agreed ITP, method statements and project specifications.

- Routinely study, check, review and validate the discipline scope of work against the appropriate contract requisition to ensure the contractors correctly interpret and comply with the latest revision AFC drawings, quantities, and specifications.
- In conjunction with other discipline superintendents ensure contractor interfaces are both coordinated and planned to allow effective take-over by follow-on contractors, and efficient access to work areas and job faces.
- Contractors survey and accept their work areas and commence contracted works within schedule time requirements, mobilizing supervision, materials and equipment in practical logical sequences.
- Effective site speed control, with safety speed limit signs available and that there are sufficient direction signs indicating access roads / routings for planned transport of manpower and materials to workforce locations and storage areas.
- Practical security and protection of the works and that all contractors provisions for temporary lighting, transport, vehicles, plant and equipment, hand tools are in adequate supply and totally fit for purpose.
- Ensure contractors are working in the required work areas, locations, elevations and sequence of work by providing discipline scheduled completion details to enable efficient planning of all activities.
- All approved modifications to Works are recorded on red-lined ‘as-built’ drawings, and are verified as correct by field personnel.
- Check contractors working on site have temporary facilities, equipment and hand tools etc that are fully capable of supporting contractors site needs in the execution of contracted works to meet schedule completions.

Workscope:
- Act as an Ambassador of the company in all aspects of HSES & IR.

Wood is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Marine Technician with extensive experience in the oil & gas industry working offshore on an FPSO vessel or marine experience working on oil or gas tankers.
The development of the fields is undertaken using a new-build, spread-moored gas FPSO unit to process gas and associated liquids from subsea wells. Dry pipeline spec gas is produced and piped through a gas export line to an onshore facility while the recoverable liquids are tandem offloaded into tankers from the FPSO. The final subsea infrastructure includes three development wells.
The posiiton is based in the Eastern Mediterranean region, working a 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotation.
The Mechanical Marine Technician reports to the Marine Team Lead and will assist in all marine aspects relating to the operation of the FPSO. Responsible for the efficient monitoring, controlling and operation of the marine and cargo systems, ensuring all procedures are adhered to and all defects are reported to the Offshore MarTL. Displays a pro-active and continuous approach to safety.
Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Seqwater to deliver leading maintenance services in the water industry. These projects cover South East Queensland across multiple locations, assisting Seqwater to provide water for more than 3 million people.
Based at the Mount Crosby Water Treatment Plant, you will be responsible for the following:
- Provide electrical services for the Seqwater Minor Capital Works Team to deliver Minor Capital projects and campaign Opex Projects.
- Provide supervision of trade resources, technical advice and support to the Minor Works Senior Trade, contractors and staff within the District.

- Contribute to the ongoing efficiency and effectiveness of the Seqwater asset management system by developing a detailed understanding of the scope, function and nature of the assets used in water treatment, supply system and bulk water storage.
- Understand and work to the relevant Permit System including Confined Space Entry Permitting.
- Ensure all Seqwater Critical Controls are followed and SWMS (Safe Work Method Statements) are developed, reviewed and understood and all associated paperwork is satisfactorily completed to permit requirements.
- Undertake operational work requirements on the Water Treatment and Supply System as required.
- Ensure all Minor Works work scope data requirements are comprehensively and accurately recorded in the work orders including photos for handover to the Asset Systems and Information Governance Team to facilitate efficient and complete upload to CIS / GIS.
- Observe and comply with all Seqwater work health and safety, quality and environmental management systems and procedures.
